Aims and Scope
Journal of Healthy Aging is an international, cutting-edge academic journal committed to advancing the science and practice of active and healthy aging. Focusing on the holistic health, functional maintenance, and quality of life of older adults, the journal emphasizes health promotion strategies, integrated prevention and management of chronic diseases, functional maintenance and rehabilitation, age-friendly environment development, and policy research in healthy aging. We advocate interdisciplinary research methodologies that integrate clinical medicine, public health, social sciences, and policy studies, aiming to build a platform that bridges theory and practice, and provides scientific evidence and innovative solutions for addressing global population aging challenges.

Topics of Interest
We welcome original research, systematic reviews, empirical studies, and policy analyses related to healthy aging, with a focus on:

Innovative strategies for health promotion and primary disease prevention in older adults

Physical function maintenance, rehabilitation interventions, and disability prevention

Integrated management of chronic conditions and optimization of polypharmacy in the elderly

Nutritional science, dietary patterns, and health outcomes in aging populations

Physical activity, exercise prescription, and functional enhancement for older adults

Cognitive function maintenance, brain health promotion, and prevention of cognitive impairment

Social participation, mental health, and social support systems for the elderly

Age-friendly environment design, assistive technology development, and application evaluation
